we are curated comms
We’ve fronted the cameras, written the speeches, managed the crises, advised ministers, and led teams through complex, fast-moving issues.
Between us - Eliza Grey, Louise Houbaer, Tamara Glumac and Alex Johnston - we’ve spent decades working across journalism, politics, government and community.
We’re a team of experienced communicators who know how to cut through the noise and deliver communication that matters. We bring insight, warmth and professionalism to every story we tell.
We understand how to balance empathy with efficiency and how to deliver results under pressure, without compromising the human touch.

A born and bred Tasmanian, Louise has spent much of her career proudly sharing stories of her home state and the people who make it special. A Newsreader and Journalist with 7 Tasmania News for almost ten years. Louise is as comfortable behind a microphone as she is connecting one-on-one in the community.
Before her decade in news, Louise gained a Bachelor of Arts in Media and worked as a flight attendant — a role that sparked her love of travel and deepened her multi-cultural appreciation for people from all walks of life. That global perspective eventually brought her home, where her passion for clear, authentic and warm communication and for daily challenges found its perfect fit in the ever-changing media landscape.
Today, Louise channels her experience as a journalist, MC and communications specialist into helping organisations shape and tell their stories with confidence and purpose. She has produced community awareness videos, reported with ASN Media and created content for Cor Comms, whilst juggling life as the Director of her husband's successful boutique building company and in her favourite role as Mum to two gorgeous toddlers (and another on the way) Louise is living proof that if you need something done, ask a busy woman!
Driven by a genuine curiosity and passion for people and the issues that matter to them, Louise brings warmth, professionalism and heart to every project she engages with, helping clients craft messages that reflect not only who they are, but the impact they seek to make.
Her ideas, combined with her warm communication skills not only reflect her true Tasmanian spirit; they resonate with the unique ethos that her island home has to offer.

Alex has more than 20 years of experience in journalism, communications, and politics.
He began his career as a television reporter in 2004 and went on to hold senior editorial roles in the Tasmanian media, including six years as News Director at WIN Television. In this role, he led statewide news coverage, managed editorial teams, and developed clear, engaging stories on issues that affect the community.
Alex has covered or advised through fourteen state and federal elections, giving him a good understanding of how media, government, and public messaging intersect during high-pressure and high-profile moments. He has also served as a senior political adviser in the Tasmanian Parliament and worked in communications with the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), combining experience across the public, private, and cultural sectors.
A regular contributor to radio programs and podcasts discussing Tasmanian politics, Alex is known for calm, practical advice, and a clear communication style. He now applies that experience to help organisations across government, not-for-profit, and business sectors build confidence in front of the media and communicate more effectively with the people they need to reach.
When he is not working, Alex is a passionate but tormented golfer and has a healthy appetite for Tasmanian produce! He also occasionally performs stand-up comedy as a creative outlet that adds some all-important balance to life.
